For the first time in ages

I’m going to do a proper post.

It seems ages since I wrote a proper post. I blame twitter and my iphone. My laptop is so slow to wake up and my iphone is so fast that I seem to have been neglecting the things I can only do on my computer. Before you all start, I know I can blog from my phone, but typing great lengths of randomthoughts is so much easier on a proper keyboard.

But I do love my iphone still.

New school has started and is ok. I still prefer old school, but I never like change and new things. Tonight is my first night shift there. Scary! Hope it all goes ok…

Home is still nice. It would be a bit nicer if there were tennents in Bowler Street, but Andrew is working hard to sort that. Home always seems to need cleaning, but it could be worse.

I’ve started dieting again properly. I want to be slimmer than last summer for this summer. I suspect I’ll be constantly on a diet of one form or another for the rest of my life, sigh, as I’m just not designed to stay thin. But last year’s success has convinced me that if I stick to it I can do it. I just need to stick to it. I have to fit into a bridesmaid frock in May which doesn’t fit at the moment. So I have something to aim for.

Time to get back to the books.

Thanks for reading!

  1. Good luck with your diet, though I am compelled to point out that you are beautiful regardless. Also, good luck with new school!
